🖤Six sophomores were inducted into National Honor Society on Monday, March 23, 2026.
❤️Following the induction, the National Honor Society seniors were recognized. The seniors were required to select a faculty member that they felt made an impact in their lives academically to place their medallion on them.
🤍A BIG congratulations to our incredible students that work hard and uphold the standards of National Honor Society!

Beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, the Highmore-Harrold School District will no longer offer a district preschool program. In partnership with the community, Little Pirates Childcare Center will be expanding its services to provide programming for a larger number of 3- and 4-year-old children.
Screening for Preschool, Jr. Kindergarten, and Kindergarten will still take place as scheduled on April 14 at the school. Parents of children who are 3 or 4 years of age will be asked to sign a waiver allowing screening results to be shared with Little Pirates Childcare Center so they can best serve students who enroll in their program.
Little Pirates Childcare Center plans to share more information about its expanded program in the coming days.

This year has flown by fast, so I wanted to hop on here and reintroduce myself! My name is Emily Gibson, and I am the PK-12th grade Student Advocate for the Highmore-Harrold School District. I realized that while the seniors and senior parents have been utilizing my website all school year for scholarships, others may not know how to access it!
Access my website using the following link: https://sites.google.com/k12.sd.us/hhschoolcounselor/home
OR
Access my website by going to the Highmore-Harrold School District's website, clicking the PARENTS/STUDENTS tab, and then click H-H School Counselor Resources!
I have very much enjoyed getting to know the students here at the Highmore-Harrold School District, and I look forward to the years to come!
