College info/visit dates

 

If any junior or senior would like to visit with a representative from a university or college, please let Ms. Bergeson know and she will set up a Zoom meeting for you.

 

 

Any Sophomore who is interested in attending the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership seminar this summer see Ms. Bergeson for an application. Cost is $225.

 

Lake Area Technical College is hosting a Senior Tech Day on Wednesday, February 3 from 9-2 on their campus in Watertown. Any senior interested in attending, see Ms. Bergeson for more information.

 

Ms. Bergeson has a sign-up sheet if anyone is interested in visiting with an Air Force Recruiter. Sign-up sheet is in Ms. Bergeson’s office.

 

 

MEETINGS

  • FCCLA WEEK COMMITTEE MEETING: There will be an FCCLA Week Committee Meeting on Thursday, January 21 in the FACS room to plan FCCLA Week.  Any members are welcome to come!  (Being on committee looks great on scholarship applications!)
  • JUNIOR CLASS PROM PLANNING MEETING will be on Friday, January 15 during the ten minutes before 7th period with Mrs. Kroeplin, in the English Room.

Ø  SENIORS! Ms. Jessica needs a vertical, wallet sized picture for the senior class composite from each of you by April! Please remember to get this to her and not wait until the end of the year. Thanks.

§  MASK will be REQUIRED to be worn by all fans and workers, and WILL NOT be provided.

§  FOOD AND DRINKS will be allowed in the main arena.

·         The concession stand will be in the WEST or EAST WINGS.

o   2 entrance tickets per rostered individual, see coaches for these.

o   Mask are required

Ø  Get your CRUSHES FOR YOUR CRUSH from Mrs. Kroeplin in the FACS Room!  They are $1.00 to send, $2.00 if you want to send an anonymous one.  They will be delivered on Thursday, February 11.  Come down and grab some notes, fill them out and bring them back when you pay! 😊 If parents would like to order from home please email Mrs. Kroeplin at alana.kroeplin@k12.sd.us with to and from (and what grade they are in) any special note you want, and then you can just send money.  Or send a note to school with that info.  Sponsored by FCCLA.
