HELLO FCCLA MEMBERS!  J

I hope that you are all doing well and staying safe and healthy out there!  I miss you! I just have a couple of things that I wanted to tell you:

1.  YOU GUYS ROCK!  You guys are the main reason I love my job and even though we didn’t get to go to state or have our year-end party/awards ceremony, I wanted to show you how appreciated and special you are, SO when you go to turn in your computers/books next week there will be a table set up with a bag on it for each of you.  Please don’t forget to pick these up!  I wish it could be fancier but just wanted to show you guys how special you are!  There will also be a big feature coming soon on the Highmore FCCLA Facebook Page and in the Highmore Herald of our FCCLA year.

2.   REIMBURSEMENT FOR STATE:  If you PAID with cash or check for state meeting, there will be a reimbursement check with your gift bag.  Please cash this ASAP.  Remember, if you bought a t-shirt you will still get that.  If you sold Frozen Foods/Kuchen you will be able to apply that credit to next year so many of you will have all of next year’s things paid for without having to pay or fundraiser with frozen food sales.

3. GOT LEADERSHIP? BECOME A LOCAL FCCLA OFFICER FOR 2020-2021! Please consider applying to be a local Highmore FCCLA Officer for next year.  The process is going to be VERY SIMPLE this year.  All you have to do is click on the link below which will take you to a short survey (link below).  That is it!  No interviews or test or anything, just fill out the survey.  Remember, holding leadership roles is not only a great learning and leadership experience, but will also benefit you when it comes to scholarships (free money!), awards, and getting jobs in the future!  FCCLA Officers will meet once before school starts (Probably a Zoom Meeting) and then meet ONCE A MONTH once school begins.  7-11th graders can apply!

THANK YOU GUYS!  I’m sorry we had a weird end to our year but I am so proud of each and every one of you and what you accomplished this year and what you will accomplish in the future!  Many of you decided to continue your STAR Events for next year so that is great that you will have a little head start!  We don’t know exactly what the future holds in regards to the pandemic, but we will face the future with warm courage and high hope!

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns!

Love, Mrs. Kroeplin J
