College visit dates

Lake Area Technical Institute has upcoming camps and Tech Days!  Check out their website to get more details and to register to attend at https://www.lakeareatech.edu/admissions/camps/

Days include:

Senior Tech Day-- Wednesday, Feb 5th—open to all High School Seniors

Junior Tech Day--Wednesday, April 1st—open to all High School Juniors

Southeast Tech has NEW programs coming fall 2020: Veterinary Technician and Dental Assisting.

Campus Visit Days:  February 7, March 20

Career Exploration Days: May 13

The University of SD representative will be here February 20th at 12:10-12:50 PM. Any sophomore, junior, or senior who is interested in visiting with her is welcome to attend.

 

MEETINGS

  • Junior Class Prom Planning Meeting will be during 5C on Thursday, January 16 in the FACS Room.  We will be reviewing decisions and voting on major things regarding DJ, Theme, and Meal.

Ø  Seniors! Please get Ms. Jessica a vertical wallet size senior picture as soon as possible for the senior class composite.

Ø  Thursday January 16th the BB games in Herreid will go as followed: JH starting at 4:45, JV starting around 6:00 and varsity starting around 7:15.

Ø  Any sophomore, junior, or senior who resides in Beadle, Hand or Hyde County interested in the annual Youth Tour in Washington, D.C. see Ms. B for more information. The deadline for applications is February 14th.

Ø  Mrs. Kroeplin needs some FCCLA Members to help with concessions at the wrestling meet on Thursday in the School Gym.  You will get points for doing this! Please sign up in the FACS room.

Ø  Anyone who wants to pre-order State Wrestling tickets must do so at the school by 9:00 on January, 28.  Adult all-session reserved tickets are $50 and student general admission all-session tickets are $28, with the checks made out to the school.
