College visit dates

A representative from Mitchell Technical Institute will be here Tuesday, November 27 at 12:00 in the conference room.

Mitchell Technical Institute has exploration days:

Juniors or seniors interested in Southeast Tech they offer the following visitation days:

Campus Visit Days (Feb. 8 and March 22), Healthcare Programs Exploration Day (Nov. 30), Junior Preview Day (Jan. 18)

 

A representative from Lake Area Technical Institute will be here on Thursday, November 15 at 1:00.

 

MEETINGS

  • FCCLA Chapter Member Meeting Checking during 5B & 5C on Thursday, November 8.  There will be treats!
  • There will be a FBLA meeting for new and old members on Monday Nov 12th during 5C
  • There will be a high school girls basketball meeting in Mr. Ring’s room on Monday at 12:15.

 

Ø  FCCLA Angel Tree applications forms have been sent home with prek-6th grade.  The angel tree is for deserving children in need of something extra at Christmas time with a connection to the Highmore-Harrold school district or Highmore-Harrold communities.  Forms are due back no later than Friday, November 16 and can be picked up in school offices or emailed to you if you email Alana.Kroeplin@k12.sd.us. The Angel Tree is for children ages 0-18.

Ø  FCCLA FROZEN FOODS will come in THIS THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 8.  All members who sold will need to have a way to pick up your food and either deliver or get to a freezer.  Please make plans to be able to deliver all your food in a timely manner before Thanksgiving.

Ø  Volleyball Girls: Remember to turn in uniforms and hitting shirts to Mr. Ring and stop in Ms. Wortman’s room to vote for end of season Volleyball awards.

Ø  Any winter sports athletes who weren’t out for a fall sport, needs to get all required paperwork from/into Mr. Ring asap.  6-12 wrestling practice starts on November 12th, high school girls basketball and 7-12 boys basketball starts on November 26th.  All paperwork must be in before being allowed to practice.
