COLLEGE VISIT DATES

Tuesday, November 28th from 1:45-2:30pm the representative from South Dakota State University will be here to talk to sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

 MEETINGS

FCCLA OFFICER MEETING – Wednesday, November 8 during Lunch B.

 There will be a meeting for all boys basketball cheerleaders on Thursday at 12:15 in the library.

 JUNIOR CLASS PROM PLANNING MEETING – Monday, November 13 during Lunch B & C.  If you are planning a presentation for a theme you must have it ready by this day.  Speak with Mrs. Kroeplin if you have any questions.

 SENIOR GIRLS PLANNING ON PARTICIPATING IN SNOW QUEEN – please call the Highmore Herald by Monday, November 13th.  852-2927.

 The first school wrestling practices for grades 6-12 begin on Monday, paperwork needs to be turned in before then if you weren’t part of a fall school sport.  Next week’s practices are in Highmore, check the online calendars for the day to day practice schedule for the season.

 FCCLA Angel Tree:  Applications for the FCCLA Angel Tree are now available.  They will be sent home with Pre-K – 6th Grade and other applications can be picked up in the school offices or from Mrs. Kroeplin in person or through email at Alana.Kroeplin@k12.sd.us.  The Angel Tree is for deserving children whose families may need a little extra help at Christmas time this year.  The Angel Tree is for children ages newborn-18.  Applications will be due back no later than Friday November 7.  The Angel Tree Cards will be hung at Vilas on the Angel Tree starting the week of Thanksgiving.

 FCCLA REGION OFFICER CANDIDATES & QUIZ BOWL TEAMS:  Any FCCLA members interested in running to be a Region Officer should let Mrs. Kroeplin know ASAP.  It is a great opportunity and resume builder!  If you have any questions please let Mrs. Kroeplin know.  Also looking for more members for our Jr. & Sr. Quiz Bowl Team.  Region registration is coming soon and the Region meeting is Monday, December 11.

 SHOW THEM WE CARE – SUPPORT OUR TROOPS:  Show our troops that we care by participating in the FCCLA Show Them WE Care project to send care packages to our military overseas.  You can also contribute by buying one of the bracelets that we will be selling.  See flyers or the FCCLA Facebook Page.
